This is approximately the schedule we have been keeping with the puppies. It is, of course, flexible depending on the activities during the day. Puppies are able to go about two hours at nap time before they will need a bathroom break. Some probably could go longer but they wake up because the others are awake. At night, they are in their pen with the crate door open so they can go to the bathroom when they need to and I can sleep in peace. - Try to take them out before they start whining in their crate. - When they tire out, put them back in their crate - After a half hour of playtime, they may need a bathroom break outside again. Don’t take your eyes off them inside in case they decide to christen your floor. - Generally, they get taken outside at the end of play time before they are but back into their crate. - They are taken outside before they get any chance to play or eat. - Meal times are 7-8 am, 12:30-1:30 pm and 5:30-6:30 pm. Eating dry food soaked with warm water. - Each time you put the puppy back into its crate, don’t forget to use your command for crate. - At supper time, our family is home to eat together so the puppies stay in the pen so that they don’t hang around the table while we are eating and so that we can eat without having to keep an eye on them. 6:00-6:30 am Wake-up, outside (should go pee and pooh if there is no pooh in their pen), play time 7:00-8:00 am Breakfast* *has been a great training time.
